Effective date: [DATE OF PUBLICATION]. Last updated: [DATE].
This Refund & Cancellation Policy is incorporated into, and forms part of, the Terms of Service. It is presented to you at checkout, and you accept it as part of completing your purchase.
If this is your first paid subscription to WolfIT, you may request a full refund of your initial payment within fourteen (14) calendar days of that purchase, provided that, as of the date of your request, your account has NOT:
exported data from the Service — meaning any download, file export, or API retrieval of records from the WolfIT Corpus; or
completed onboarding of a Territory — meaning that the Hound territory-onboarding workflow has reached its final (“finalize”) step for at least one Territory.
If either event has occurred, the guarantee no longer applies, because the core value of the Service has already been delivered. Both events are recorded by the Service and can be confirmed on request.
Except as required by law or as expressly stated in this Policy, subscription fees are non-refundable and non-proratable. You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future billing but does not refund the current billing period, and the Service remains available through the end of the period you have already paid for.
If you selected a plan with a minimum twelve (12) month commitment billed monthly, cancelling before the commitment ends stops Service access at the end of the then-current billing period, but you remain responsible for fees accrued and for the remainder of the commitment as described in the Terms of Service. Cancellation does not itself entitle you to a refund of amounts already paid, except under Section 1.
If you paid annually in advance, the Section 1 guarantee applies during the first fourteen (14) days. After that period, annual fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as expressly provided in Section 5. You may turn off auto-renewal at any time before the renewal date.
We will issue a refund, or a prorated credit, in the following cases:
A verified billing error, including a duplicate charge or a charge after a valid cancellation;
A charge made without authorization on your account, once verified;
Where we materially degrade or discontinue core functionality you paid for during a paid term, as described in the Terms of Service — in which case we will refund the unused portion of that term;
Where a refund is required by applicable law.
Free accounts, design-partner accounts, and accounts provided at no charge are not eligible for a refund, because no payment was made.
Promotional or founding-customer rates apply as described at the time of purchase. A refund under Section 1 ends the subscription; a promotional rate does not carry over to a later repurchase unless we agree in writing.
For customers on an invoiced or enterprise order form, the refund and cancellation terms of that order form control and supersede this Policy where they conflict.
Refunds include any sales tax collected on the refunded amount. Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Payment-processing fees are not refunded separately, as they are included in the amount you paid. Refunds are typically processed within five (5) to ten (10) business days after approval, subject to your bank or card issuer.
If you believe you were charged in error, contact support@wolfit.ai before initiating a chargeback with your card issuer or bank — we will investigate promptly and correct verified billing errors. Initiating a chargeback for a charge you authorized, without first contacting us, may result in suspension of your account pending resolution, and we may recover the amount of any resulting fee.
Cancel at any time through the Customer Portal, accessible from your account settings, or by emailing support@wolfit.ai. Refund requests under Section 1 should be sent to support@wolfit.ai, referencing your account email and purchase date. We will confirm receipt and tell you our decision within five (5) business days.
We may update this Policy from time to time. The version in effect on the date of your purchase governs that purchase.
